WhatsApp has become an integral part of our lives to communicate easily with friends. But now the application is set to launch a standalone business app, particularly in Asia.
This Facebook-owned service will be launching the new app in coming months of 2018. Under its FAQs section, WhatsApp revealed further details about the process of identifying the verified business accounts from non-verified accounts.

WhatsApp is widely used smartphone communicating platform and currently has more than 1.3 billion users worldwide. Since the Facebook acquired the platform, it has tested multiple features and now with the standalone business app, it is certainly trying to beat other communicating platforms like Skype and Telegram, which are largely used for business communication.
Mentioning about the verifying business accounts, the company mentioned, “While chatting with businesses, you can check your contact’s profile to see which type of account they’re using. A verified account has a green checkmark badge on its profile.” The business account having green mark is verified, which is also an authentic brand. The business account having grey question mark badge mean, the account is yet be confirmed or verified by WhatsApp.
