A new gadget from Samsung Galaxy Note 8, named Android 8.0 Oreo for the US version has leaked online recently. The OTA (Over the Air) download has just appeared on the Reddit. It says that, as per many users, this update is functional but is slightly unstable while using few other apps.

There was a surprise element in this leak. It is that in Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus, there was not seen beta build Oreo for Note 8 till yet. It should be noted that the updated firmware (N95OUSQU2CQL1) which is leaked is based on final version and is not a beta build.

Compatibility of the Firmware

This mobile firmware is only suited for US version of phablet of Samsung. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 SoC (SM-N95OU). It needs the device which is already being operating firmware version N95OUSQS2BQK2.

At present, this process is only compatible with unlocked Note 8 devices. In Reddit, the original post dictates the process of manual installation of Nougat based update on any unlocked US Note 8 with use of third-party software.
